Service History
Whip was a Royal Australian Air Force(RAAF) Military Working Dog (MWD). He was bred at the RAAF Security and Fire School at Amberley Airbase. He was then posted to 2SECFOR, RAAF Base Amberley. During his career, Whip Supported Ex Pitch Black 2018 in Darwin for 3 months and participated in Ex Nigrum Pugio 2020 in Townsville. Whip was posted to 2SECFOR, Townsville at the end of 2020 and subsequently retired from service in 2022. Unfortunately Whip passed away on 16 October 2023, from an aggressive spinal cancer. We would like to continue Whip’s legacy but posting him as the first retired working dog to be registered with WPA.

Service History
Keni served as a combat assault dog (CAD) with the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) from 2011-2017. During this time Keni participated in multiple exercises and training all across Australia and internationally, such as in the Philippines and New Zealand. He attended all training his handler did, which meant he often had to fast rope from Blackhawk helicopters and even did multiple parachute jumps, both free fall and static line with his handler. He also served on active duty on multiple Domestic Counter-Terrorism (DCT) rotations within the SASR. Keni retired due to spinal injuries caused by his intense service in 2017.

Service History
Stone was a combat assault dog (CAD) within the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). Once Stone qualified a s a CAD he quickly began deploying to Afghanistan on operations. He did 3 tours of duty, 2011 with 1 SAS SQN, 2012 with 2 SAS SQN, and 2013 with 1 SAS SQN. Stone saved the lives of many SAS operators during his service in Afghanistan. He also was on active duty for Domestic Counter-Terrorism (DCT) with the SAS 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016. Stone retired from service in 2017.

Service History
Tilly was born and raised at RAAF SFS where she was then partnered with her handler on an AFSEC Military Working Dog Handler IET course in July 2016. They were subsequently posted to 2SECFOR Townsville, QLD from 2016-2020. 2021 posted to 2SECFOR Tindal, NT until she retired in 2021 due to Osteoarthritis. Since being retired Tilly has lived in Derby, WA and is now located back in Townsville, QLD living her best, laid back North QLD grey nomad life.

Dagger served as a RAAF MWD for 5 years. He completed Basic Course RAAFSFS 0002 28 Nov 14. Dagger was then posted to 2SECFOR SQN – TDL Det 01 Dec 14. After completing this posting he was posted to 3SECFOR SQN – PEA Det 27 Nov 17. Dagger was subsequently medically Retired 01 Jan 19
Now living his best life in WA.

Bliss started her military career as a RAAF explosive detection dog (EDD) in 2013. Following this she was identified to begin training in the newly established SASR scout dog program. Bliss soon become a regiment favourite, going on exercises domestic and international, working alongside the countries elite soldiers.

Service History
Xander, like many Combat Assault Dogs (CAD) that serve with the SASR, started his career in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and was a product of the RAAF breeding program. Showing nerves of steel he was quickly identified by SASR K9 developers as a candidate for CAD training. Upon successful completion of his CAD training he served at the SASR from 2017-2021.

Service History
Gus is a retired Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Military Working Dog (MWD). He has been posted to RAAF Base Pearce (WA) and RAAF Base Richmond (NSW). Throughout his career, Gus was deployed on exercises within australia to provide security to millitary assets and personnel. Gus was awarded the Australian Defence Force Trackers and War Dogs Association (ADFTWDA) Canine Service Medal for performing a minimum of 5 years continuous service, post graduation.
Gus now spends his retirement days relaxing at home with his handler or visiting the local coffee shops and bars in Perth, where he is loved and welcomed by the owners and their customers.

Service History
Bomber is a retired RAAF Military Working Dog.
Bomber was posted to RAAF Base Pearce. Over the course of his career he participated in Ex Griffin Fury 2017 and 2018, Ex Scorpion Sting 2018, and successfully completed RAAF MWD intermediate course in 2019.
Bomber was awarded his Canine Service Medal and retired as a result of working injuries in 2022.
He’s now living a great retired life, and you’ll never catch him without a kong in his mouth.

Titus was a product of the RAAF breeding program, but quickly showed promise and was earmarked for service in the Combat Assault Dog program within the SASR. He served for 6 years at the SASR in Perth, Western Australia. He is now retired at home loving life with his handler.

Service History
Prim was posted with her handler to Pearce Airbase in Western Australia in 2017. Prim served for 3 years however, it was identified early on that she was born to be a home dog over a working dog. Prim and her handler spent the first year developing her to see if she ‘had it’ but ended up going down the retirement route. So now she has been retired and at home with her best mate for almost 4 years!
Now she lives the chiller life, exploring WA on camping and beach trips with her retired MWD bro Ozcar.

Apache was a Military Police Dog developed by Varg Kennels. He completed his basic course at RAAFSFS prior to posting to Townsville in 2020. He then posted to Darwin with his handler in 2021. Apache has completed multiple exercises and tasks ranging from the security with the Division HQ to support across 1, 3 & 7 Brigade.

Service History
Zlo was imported from Czechoslovakia. He graduated from SFS in June 2019. Zlo then posted into RAAF base Pearce. He worked hard securing the flight line at the airbase alonside his handler. Zlo also attended the Edinburgh and Avalon airshows. Zlo was lucky enough to travel to Japan in 2023 on a training exercise to broaden his knowledge. He retired in June 2024 due to Physical ailments that limited his capability.

Service History
Ulf successfully completed the basic training course in June 2018 after which he was subsequently posted to RAAF base Townsville. Ulf worked on the flight line in Townsville until he was then posted to RAAF base Darwin in 2019. He was then posted again to RAAF base Edinburgh in 2020 and finally to RAAF base Pearce in 2023 where he served until his retirement in May 2024. Ulf participated in many exercises including EX Talisman Sabre in 2023 and he also attended the Dick Staal seminar in Oct 2022.

Anzac successfully completed the basic training course in June 2017 and was posted to RAAF Base Darwin. Over the course of his career, Anzac participated in many exercises, including Ex. Pitch Black 2018 and 2022. Anzac was awarded his Canine Service Medal and retired in February 2023, just in time to celebrate his birthday.
He’s now living a great retired life and absolutely loving the comforts of a human bed. -

Service History
MWD Jack served 5 faithful years in the RAAF including postings with 2SECFOR and 13SQN. His career has been focused in Darwin, however, he has participated in Avalon Airshow (Victoria) as well as countless domestic exercises and DFR recruitment activities.
Early this year he was diagnosed with epilepsy which marked the end of his working career. At 7 years old he is now retired with his handler living his best life in the Northern Territory. -

MWD Gidget graduated from RAAF SFS Military Working Dog Basic Course in 2020.
Gidget was then posted to RAAF Base Williamtown and then a second posting to RAAF Base Darwin in 2023.
MWD Gidget participated in multiple exercises during her time of service and achieved top dog award at her posted unit 3 years in a row.
Due to health issues MWD Gidget was retired in 2024 and now lives at home with her handler. -

Woody was born on 28/04/2017, he was initially developed by K9 solutions before arriving at SASR K9 cell as a development dog in mid 2018. He was paired with a handler in A troop 1SAS Squadron where he served his whole career until his retirement in October 2021 as a result spinal injuries. During this time he did multiple Counter Terrorism rotations and exercises. He deployed overseas on one occasion and completed multiple parachute decents.

Anya was born from the RAAF Breeding Program located at the RAAF Security and Fire School in Amberley QLD.
Anya completed the RAAF Security and Fire School Military Working Dog Initial Employment Training Course and became a Military Working Dog in 2019.
Anya was posted to 2 Security Forces Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley upon graduation.
During this time, Anya was included in multiple different exercises and force protection duties up until her retirement.
Anya retired due to medical reasons and is now living her best life with her handler.

Kaiya graduated SFS at RAAF Base Amberley with her second handler in June 2019.
From there she was posted to RAAF Base Williamtown with 1SECFOR from 2019-2022
From 2022-2023 Kaiya was posted to RAAF Base Darwin where at age 10 her retirement was to be processed.
Kaiya is now living in Darwin with her handler and two furry siblings. Kaiya will soon be moving to Adelaide to enjoy the sunshine and beaches. -

Service History
Arrest was a Euro import from Czech Republic and commenced RAAF MWD course training in May 2020 when we were paired. Arrest and his handler were posted to 2SECFOR / 13SQN Darwin in July 2020 where they participated in multiple international exercises such as Singapore bombing Camp, Diamond Storm, Arnhem Thunder, Rogue Ambush and Pitch black 2022. They then posted to RAAF Richmond in Jan 2023 where they achieved LMC standard. In the following months Arrest was assessed for his eyesight due to issues we encounter during night exercises and it was deemed in Jun/Jul that Arrest would be retired due to being diagnosed with PRA / degeneration of the lens. Arrest is now enjoying retired life with his handler and her husband as well as he’s little sister Chilli. Currently in Darwin although they are getting ready to do another move down to Cold Victoria!
