MWD Ben graduated from the RAAF Security Forces School Military Working Dog Basic Course in 2021 and was posted to RAAF Base Pearce. In 2023, he was posted to RAAF Base Darwin, where he took part in multiple exercises throughout his service. MWD Ben retired in 2024 after being deemed no longer suitable for duty and now lives at home with his handler.
