Bernie was teamed with his handler 2019 at RAAF Base Amberley, they then posted together to RAAF base Richmond from Nov 2019 to Jan 2023, RAAF base Amberley from Jan 2023 until retirement. MWD team were involved in multiple exercises and responded to multiple security incidents while on duty.
