Ringo was a RAAF MWD bred at RAAFSFS. Ringo conducted his reteam assessment with his handler in November 2023 and posted to 27SQN Townsville. Ringo took part in multiple exercises out of Townsville, including Pitch Black, High Sierra, Black Dagger, Mobility Guardian & Talisman Sabre. Ringo assisted his handler in providing education on evasion tactics to students at Combat Survival Training School and conducted multiple consolidation activities out of Townsville Field Training Area. Ringo posted to 23SQN Amberley in 2025 where he responded to a number of security incidents with his handler. Due to medical & physical developmental complications, MWD Ringo was retired from service at the young age of 5.
